Spring is here!


It’s spring time – FINALLY! You know what that means … Open up the windows, let the fresh air in, get the germs out, put away the winter attire and bring out the spring/summer attire and get a deep clean done on the house to get ready for the new season. It’s like a fresh new start.

We take the time to make sure our houses are in order. Make sure the floors are washed and vacuumed. We clean and organize rooms, closets and garages. Take inventory of things that aren’t needed or are needed for the new season.

It’s all part of taking care of what we have.

We run health checks on our computers and we take our vehicles in for regular maintenance to make sure they are all running well. Shouldn’t we do the same for ourselves?

Let’s take a minute to take inventory on how you’re feeling. Do a health check …. To get ready for the summer season that’s right around the corner.

TAKE CARE OF YOU

So often we’re guilty of putting those around us and/or other things we own as a higher priority than our own health. Why? Why not value ourselves as much as our houses, boats, cars, etc.?

We’re worth it and worth investing in.

“Sorry I can’t join you for a run. I just have a bad knee [ankle, hip, etc], always have.”

“I’ve been so tired lately and just not feeling right. I don’t think I have it in me to go for that hike.”

“Dinner? I don’t think I can. I have digestive issues, so I probably shouldn’t.”

Have you found yourself saying something like these statements? If so, it doesn’t have to be the case. You can move past these reasons and get on with enjoying life.

When we’re feeling good and running at optimal levels, we can do more. Enjoy more. Be happier and healthier. Live longer.

COMMON CONDITIONS THAT YOU DON’T NEED TO JUST “DEAL WITH”

For some reason, when we’ve had a condition, ailment, old sports injury or even a disease for so long, we tend to let it identify who we are and therefore limit us. You don’t have to though. These conditions, and more, are things that a lot of us struggle with.

  • Old sports injury (or a new one for that matter) from when you were younger

  • Arthritis or Bursitis

  • Back/shoulder tightness or pain from sitting at a desk all day

  • Headaches and/or migraines

  • Chronic fatigue

  • Digestive issues

  • Excess weight

FEEL LIKE YOURSELF AGAIN

At Ayen Chiropractic, we want to help you get back to feeling like yourself again. We want you to be able to be out playing with your kids, playing softball with your friends, going for a walk or a hike, socializing with your peers, etc. You don’t have to settle for feeling less than ideal.
